These are pictures from the 2005 "free entry" show at Lou Litster Park. I have also got the 2006 Twin Cities Show pics here! :) The rides won't really change much from year to year, so most of these rides should be there still.
This year, the 2007 Townsville Show starts at 5pm Friday night on 29th June, and then it runs on Saturday 30th June, Sunday 1st July and finishes on Monday 2nd July. The Townsville Show public holiday is on Monday 2nd July, so don't go to work now!
How to get there:
This is a map of the Showgrounds, courtesy of the White Pages (link). The gates are located on Kings Rd and Parkes St (just off Ingham Rd). The showgrounds are located in West End, and is surrounded by Kings Rd, Woolcock St, and Ingham Rd. Since the show will be crowded, if you aren't lucky, it will take quite some time to find a carpark. I recommend parking in the side streets near Parkes St and Church St, but it is a matter of luck on how close you will get to park there. Some vendors charge for some Show parking spots, so try to avoid these if you want to save a bit of money.
